I went to a presentation on Home Fire Safety last week. I was astonished about the information and education I recieved on the facts of how smoke detectors really protect us (or should I say how little). I would’ve assumed it would have been due to rarely checking the batteries, but the fact is, there are different types of detectors, and the types you would find in a local store (ionized) will detect candle smoke or that burnt toast, but not other forms of smoke. Yesterday I had my Street G-Sale Event that went better than I anticipated. The neighbors got involved and a good hundred or more people went from house to house. Through some donated items we raised $50.00 for the Food Bank. The best part about it was building the new friendships with the people on the street. Its always nice to do something that helps out so many others in such a practical way.

I went to all my neighbors and promoted an event to get to know everyone and have some fun on our culdesac.  So if you love G-Sales, you’ll want to come out to Merrywood Cr. in Sherwood Park on May 28th.  We will be having atleast 10 garage sales at the same time between 10am – 4pm.  It’ll be a great time and the weather will be good too.  Come by and even get a Comparitive Analysis of your neighborhood!!!

Listed a home in Beverly Heights this past week.  It’s located at 4438 – 116 Ave in Edmonton.  Come drop by as I will be doing an Open house on Saturday May 21, from 1-4pm.  Looking forward to meeting some new people and sharing in some Timbits.
